SELF DEFENCE CLASSES IN

Come along for a taster session and see if it’s your kind of training.

​

We cover practical self-defence and fitness for real-life situations: movement, striking, defences, and grappling basics - taught in a friendly, structured class (no gym ego, no pressure to perform).

​

Expect a solid warm-up, pad work, partner drills, and simple scenario practice, all scaled to your body and experience.

 

You’ll get a proper workout, but you won’t be thrown in the deep end - Al checks in regularly to keep things safe, clear, and doable.

​

Class flow (60 mins): warm-up → pads → skills → drills → optional finishers


Beginners welcome. Nervous is normal. We’ve got you.

  • Resilience is very happy to offer concession rates for anyone who wants to train but honestly can't afford our fees.

  • These memberships operate on a pay what you can, if you can basis, and places are strictly limited.​​

THE SMALL PRINT

  • We don't charge a club Joining Fee - spend this on your training kit and training license instead!

 

  • After joining you will need: 

    • Mouth guard, groin guard, shin protection, boxing gloves, and grappling gloves

  • You will also need a KMG Training License (liability insurance) when you join the club.​​​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  • All monthly memberships are charged on a rolling basis.

​​​​​​​​​​​

  • One calendar month's notice required when cancelling monthly memberships.​

​​​​​

  • We schedule classes across a 48 week training year, and break for 2 weeks during the summer and winter.​​
